It should be used with caution in children who are exposed to alcohol during treatment with terbinafine. It can be used, in some cases, as a single daily treatment. Apply Lamisil AT 1% Cream as directed by your doctor, usually once or twice daily. If you miss a application, skip it and see you next week.
The efficacy of Lamisil AT 1% Cream in the treatment of tinea pedis has been assessed in 250 adult patients suffering from tinea pedis (the main fungal infection of which there is commercial use) and in 416 adult patients with tinea corporis (the main fungal infection of which there is commercial use).
The use of Lamisil AT 1% Cream in children has been compared with the use of single daily Lamisil Cream in adults suffering from tinea pedis. In the treatment of tinea corporis, a single daily application of Lamisil Cream is as effective and as safe as 250 mg of Lamisil Cream.
