With 15g of cream, LamisilAT Spray offers a convenient and effective way to treat athlete's foot, offering a hassle-free treatment option for both daily and on-the-go purposes.
What is Lamisil AT Spray? Lamisil AT Spray is a unique spray formulation of the anti-fungal terbinafine cream drug. The active ingredient in Lamisil AT Spray, terbinafine hydrochloride, is a powerful anti-fungal agent known for effectively killing and stopping the growth of fungi that cause infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and more.
Its mechanism of action, intended only for once-daily dosing, makes it a preferred choice among dermatologists and patients alike. The active ingredient in Lamisil AT Spray, terbinafine, belongs to the terfenadine class of medication. It is primarily used to treat athlete's foot and to ease the discomfort associated with on-the-go use.
While Lamisil AT Spray is generally well-tolerated, it’s essential to be aware of potential side effects. Some users may experience stuffy nose, indigestion, or burning of the application site. If any severe or persistent side effects occur, seek medical attention promptly.
The active substance, terbinafine, works by blocking the action of an enzyme called yeast cytochrome P450 (PERI) and fungal cell membranes break down the yeast cytochrome P450 enzyme, leading to decreased or absent of topical terbinafine. This disruption allows the fungus to survive and grow.
